Another win for Portway 'A'

Football News - A Team (Year 6) League Report:  

Andover CofE 0  - Portway A 12

The A side played the second  game of the league campaign away to Andover CofE this week and made it 2 wins in 2 games!

The game ended 12-0 to Portway and it was a good performance all around with everyone contributing to the win. Captain Ross McMullen conrolled things at the back ensuring it was a second clean sheet with Jake McGowan in goal. The rest of the team worked hard and really passed the ball around well creating lots of chances to score.

Andover CofE kept battling away but in the end it was a comfortable win. The message from Mr Barrett was it was a great start to the season but there were some difficult games to come including the big Portway A vs B derby matches!
