CAPS
Children Achieving at Portway School
CAPS is a really exciting part of the week and is something we all look forward to achieving on a Friday afternoon. CAPS is a wide range of excellent activities organised by the school staff and a group of dedicated volunteers for children to participate in. It is a way of rewarding the good behaviour choices that many of our children make.
Over the last two years we have run approximately 160 different activities and this term alone we have 31 choices available for every child. These include activities such as Biscuit Art, Happenin' Hockey, Fabulous Film, Puzzles, Dangerous Darts, Surfing the Web, Jewellery Making, Hama Beads, Delicious Drama, Fantastic Film, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Top Trumps, Marvellous Massage, Greetings Cards, Penalty Shootout, Adorable Door Signs, Campfire Songs, Fingernail Fashion, Dodgeball, Deafening Disco, Graffiti Art, DS & X-Box Challenge, Croquet, Garden Darts, Boules, Clever Collage, and many many more.
Check out the photographs to see just some of the fun that Portway pupils (and staff!) have during our CAPS time!
