Year 4 recently took part in an art project on bees, butterflies and birds. First we used some memory stick (which is a type of branch!) to bend and create the outline of the shape and then we used some tape to stick it all together. After that, we used some willow to support it.
The messy bit was after break. We had glue, a sponge and strong tissue paper waiting for us on the table. We had to paste the tissue paper and then cover the frame with it - it was really tricky! The butterflies, bees and birds were left to dry over lunch and in the afternoon we decorated them with coloured tissue paper. They all looked great together on the stage. Lots of thanks to Jo, our fantastic artist.
