Fair Play Champions

Recently we had some of our rugby players going to the Hampshire Finals day. They had qualified by being the runner's-up in the area competition last term and were representing the whole of Test Valley, which was a very proud moment. They didn't manage to win but had some great games against some very tough opposition. They did, however, win the Fair Play Award by getting the most points awarded by opposing teams. This is a great achievement and really demonstrated the 'Portway Spirit'! We must also thank Mr Ireland & Mr Joy for coaching the team and to Mrs Seymour & Mr Barrett for accompanying the children.
