Football Champions!

We went to Anton Junior School to play in the league tournament for girls football before the Easter holidays. We were a really strong team and kept our hopes up all the way. There were other schools in Andover there as well and we played all of them throughout the day. Every game that we played we won and we didn't concede any goals - we were very proud of this! Phoebe Clarke was awarded 'Player of the Tournament' because she was the best player and this was awarded by Andover Lions in the Community. We topped the league with 15 points and 19 goals, which made us clear winners - we even managed to beat all three Anton teams! Mr Barrett was very proud of us, as was the rest of school when we got back to tell them in assembly. We'd like to thank Mr Barrett and Mr Deery for getting us all there, as well as Mr Dewhurst and Mr Barrett for encouraging us and taking the team to the top!
