The Mysteries of Orison
On 14th June the whole of Y4 went to St Andrew's church and had the most outstanding time! We all walked to the church with partners and, when we were there, Peter and Shirley told us what we were doing. There were a series of rooms and activities and, in the first were things like play doh. We had to make a shape that represented happiness and one that showed sadness. This meant that when we squashed them together, they made a beautiful shape to send to God. Then we went to the Orison room! It was pitch black with only fairy lights to see by. There were lots of activities to do in here, all with special lights and things. Our favourite was the plasma ball. After this we went to the creation room and we made a paper plate split into sections saying 'wow!', 'please', 'thank you' and 'sorry' and we used magazines and drawings to express our thoughts. We all had a great time and really appreciate Miss Millar and Shirley Mackintosh organising it for us!
