The Pride of Andover

We are delighted to announce that Joan Beale (our governor and volunteer) won the HEART OF GOLD (PRIDE OF ANDOVER) AWARD. She was nominated by the school after being a governor and volunteer at our school for over 20 years! She has also been a volunteer at Winchester hospital for over 40 years and also helps at the Countess of Breknock Hospice. She is an amazing lady and we are very lucky to have her. We are very pleased she has received the recognition she so richly deserves.

There were other Portway connections at the ceremony. Mrs Summerfield (Michael’s mum in 4JP) was highly commended in the carer’s award & so was Luke Davis,who is at the infants,in the fundraising section.
