Totally Tudor with Year 5
On Tuesday, 6th December, year 5 visited Winchester Cathedral to learn about its history and features for their project on the Tudors! We had a tour around the cathedral and were able to see lots of fabulous carvings, pictures and statues. We were also able to make and paint our own stain-glass window. We did a Christmas activity too and went on an angel hunt to find angels that were hidden all around the cathedral. It was a really fascinating day and a great experience. Thank you to all of the teachers and parents for arranging the visit and looking after us.

Note from Mr Deery: Well done to all year 5 children and staff. I have heard lots of compliments about behaviour from parents and helpers. The organiser at Winchester Cathedral said the pupils were the most well behaved she had worked with!
