Y4 fun at Milestones

On Thursday we went to Milestones Museum for the day to look at Victorian clothes and things which they used in Victorian times. We saw lots of interesting buildings and were even able to touch a real Victorian purse and fan and listen to a lady play a traditional Victorian instrument called a penny whistle! Our favourite part of the day was getting to dress up in the Victorian clothes and have our photos taken. We also saw a man on a toilet reading the newspaper! But thankfully he wasn’t real! We all had a great day and it really felt like we had gone back in time! Huge thanks to our teachers for organising it and taking us and to our volunteers who came along to help too! Thank you.
